Old Church, New Wedding!

Here's a friend of mine getting married in her hometown's Old Church - Camalig Parish Church...

The Young Bride

One of my favorites to shoot are young brides...youthful, fresh and oh so beautiful...I really had fun having covered her wedding...don't you think?

A Centuries-old Church, Love and The Volcano

There is a certain magic when you hold a wedding at an old church...it seems that the occasion is historical in the sense that we only get married once in our lives and we beseech the spirits of old to bestow upon us their blessings.

Actually, I have always loved shooting weddings at these kinds of venues...this was taken at the Daraga Parish Curch in Albay Province, Philippines.

And one Post-nup Photo I love is where the newly-weds appreciating the appraisal from Bicol's Maiden, Mayon Volcano...

Pre-Wedding Pictorial Session

Bridal Shoes

Bridal Portrait with Swarovski Bouquet going down the stairs.

This Client was a surprise one. I was just supposed to go to the wedding as a guest, since it was my friend who was tying the knot at that day but ended up being The Wedding Photographer. Works for me.

I used a 50mm 1.8 NIKKOR Lens and the 18-105mm Kit that came with my Nikon D90 for my weddings.
With this set, I used ambient light due to the fact that her hotel room had big windows which makes it just right to capture the moments and the details during the wedding prep.
